Class Descriptions
ABS WITH BOBBY

Abs with Bobby is a challenging, fast pace class that goes far beyond the standard abs class protocol, which will generally focus only on the external muscles, neglecting other crucial muscles. Conversely, Bobby’s class structure provides a well-rounded workout that includes the entire midsection, or “Core” area.

The specific benefits of this all-inclusive workout beyond aesthetic gains are improved balance, stabilization, and coordination. By improving the entire core the ability to function more efficiently in fitness as well as in all areas of everyday life is made possible.

This 30-minute class is sure to test your current level of core strength and endurance, and will undoubtedly help you reach new levels of overall health and fitness.

 
BOOT CAMP CONDITIONING
Boot Camp Conditioning is designed to portray the conditioning given to the actual soldiers in the United States Army. This 30-minute class is set to cadence, and provides a thorough total-body workout in a structured and interactive setting. The class content varies each time so it will keep you guessing. Now with instructor, Bobby B.
 
BRIDGE RUN/TREAD RUN

The venue of this running class varies by the season, but the class does not vary in its intensity and results. By having 2 instructors they insure that no one is left behind, and that varying paces are welcome. All are welcome to join the run no matter what level of fitness they are at. Anyone that has entertained the thought of running for cardiovascular exercise is urged to give this class a try. Bobby and Tommy enjoy working with new/novice runners, and they take pride in helping them achieve their running goal(s).

Ben Franklin Bridge Run is the first option when the weather permits. The distance of the run is 3.2 miles, and it is completed at a steady and challenging pace. The class leaves from Old City Ironworks, and its duration is approximately 35-45 minutes.

Tread Run is an indoor treadmill run that takes place when going outside is not an option. This run varies in content, but is consistently 35 minutes in duration. The class content can vary from interval training to incline running and beyond.

KICKBOXING

Kickboxing is for men and women of any ability level, taught by an instructor with a master level degree in Tae Kwon Do Karate.

Sometimes we work out with music. Other times we freestyle with punching bags and gloves, etc. Mix in strength training, flexibility and self-defense and you have a challenging workout that changes every week.
 
SPINNING
A high-energy all-out workout that challenges both mind and body. This class, led by a long-time Spinning enthusiast, focuses on form and the mind-body connection to allow you to work to your maximum potential. Beginners to seasoned spinners welcome.
 
VINYASA YOGA with ANANDAMAYI of DHYANA YOGA
All levels. This is an hour long ashtanga based yoga class. Usually the class tunes in with a short meditation, mantra (om) and then moves into a flow of asanas (poses), with variations suggested for peoples individual needs. Nurturing, yet challenging. Relaxing and energizing. Embracing mind, body and spirit, cultivating clarity and joy. A balanced compliment to add to your personal training!
 
VINYASA YOGA with JANNEKEN
Janneken teaches vinyasa yoga to students of all levels. Vinyasa—the linking of breath and movement—entails a rigorous yet supportive class that allows students to push themselves physically while finding a deeper sense of personal contentment and relaxation.  Each class session differs, although Janneken's classes usually begin with brief meditation and breathing exercises, gentle stretching, and sun salutations, followed by a more energetic flow of movement and breath.
 
ZUMBA
Zumba is a Latin dance-based workout that is suitable for all fitness levels and dance abilities. If you like to dance, you will love Zumba. Zumba classes feel like a party, with great music, simple dance steps, and a relaxed atmosphere. People love Zumba because they have so much fun doing it, they forget they are working out. Zumba draws music and movements from several Latin dance styles - salsa, merengue, cumbia, reggaeton - as well as from hip-hop, belly dance, flamenco, and pop. Come to class prepared to move your hips!
