Banner Art Guidelines

HOMEPAGE Art
Placed on our homepage, below the main graphic and above our address info

FILE FORMAT:	.gif (no photos/gradients/transparency) .jpg (with photos/gradients) NO PDF FILES, please.
IMAGE SIZE:	650 pixels wide by around 100-200px tall (at 72ppi)
DETAILS:	If using transparency (.gif), the background color that you'd be designating as transparent should be #990000 (dark red) or else it'll look funny. (no clue about what I mean? Don't worry)
FILE SIZE:	35k (max)
ANIMATIONS:	As not to overpower the content present on the page, we request that all banner art be STATIC (no rotating banners/flash animations)

BANNER Art
Placed in the right columns of inner pages

DETAILS:	No transparency available due to the gradient background.

FLIER Art / Large Art
Placed as a pop-up image, usually accompanied by a banner ad.

FILE FORMAT:	.gif (no photos/gradients/transparency) .jpg (with photos/gradients) RECOMMENDED NO PDF FILES, please.
IMAGE SIZE:	650 pixels wide by 500px tall (at 72ppi) A quarter-page flier reduces to 650x500. The width of the art is fixed, but the height is flexible. Make sure the small text is readable.
DETAILS:	Unfortunately, we do not have space to place large art within the layout of our pages. We suggest creating a banner ad, with "MORE INFO", to direct our viewers to click and view your art within a pop-up window (or back to your site). Your art will apeear on the default background of the viewers browser for a pop-up window, usually this is set to be WHITE.

IMAGE SIZE:	400 pixels wide by 100px tall (at 72ppi)
DETAILS:	appears on a larger, white background
FILE SIZE:	25k (max)

SUBMISSION NOTES:

All submitted files must meet the specifications listed on this page or they can not be used. Mostly, this is because your art will not fit into our layout. We apologize for not having standardized art sizes.

We do not accept extensive html code for banner links to external images or programming features. To be honest, it just gets too confusing.

Unless expressly agreed upon by Irokworks, artwork placed on the homepage is at our discretion. We reserve this space for ONE timely notice and special info and if we decide it is necessary, we will replace your art on the homepage with something of our own or bump it down, lower on the page.

We do not guarantee that banner or newsletter art will appear "above the fold" on any or all pages. Sorry, but we just have a lot of our own content that needs to be seen.
